In the International Year of Plant Health 2020 , the Plant Health Alliance launches five Plant Healthy education modules . The module track a range of subjects rudimentary to the management of industrial plant health and biosecurity in the UK .
Starting with regulations and controls , the module come along to brood how to direct a Pest risk of infection Analysis for a horticultural business or organisation ’s situation . A site can be a glasshouse , garden centre , landscapers or tree surgeon ’s yard , or a public garden . Also cover are the type of harmful being and how they spread . Information is provide on good flora biosecurity practice in sexual relation to thePlant Health Management Standard , which is the voluntary Standard the Plant Healthy Certification Scheme is based upon . Finally , Plant Health responsibility and acknowledgement is covered with a description of how to progress onto the Plant Health Professional Register which is administered by the Royal Society of Biology . At the end of the modules is a short test . Upon successful completion a certificate is provided .
The modules are a free e - learning resourcefulness to avail businesses and organisations understand what they require to jazz and natural process they can take for protect plant and tree diagram wellness . The modules are being launched as a beta rendering to gather feedback from users to help oneself hone plant life wellness information to improve plant biosecurity in the UK . Thanks goes to the authors of the module , Defra for fund their production , the HTA Learning and Development team and CPL- instruct for their build and hosting .
