Soup is a fine way to serve seasonal vegetables or use up leftovers.
When it come to soup , we all have our seasonal favourite . For wintertime , I wish to make a big muckle of substantial pasta e fagioli using quick-frozen stewed Lycopersicon esculentum from the premature summer ’s crop . As the conditions warms , the soup of the daylight might be asparagus or leek . In summer , there ’s gazpacho or cold Cucumis sativus soup , and in fall , caldo verde ( a Lusitanian soup made with kale ) is a family favorite .
