Why I roll in the hay them : Maat is clearly an expert in chickens and I get it on listening to her podcasts and study her posts about everything and anything I ever wanted to know about chickens . As a novel chicken possessor , The Frugal Chicken is a groovy imagination for young homesteader and usually my first stop consonant when looking for information on types of egg , nutrition , wellness and care tips .

Why I bang them : Erica has a big path of writing which I find full of humor and sprightliness . I especially enjoy reading the horticulture piece since I ’m a fellow nurseryman and her upcycling project . The financial posts are also interesting and have had me re - assessing my own finance to be able to achieve my goal .

Why I love them : Willow Creek Farm is a recent web log find for me and I savor reading about high elevation homesteading in the Rocky Mountains . I survive in a higher ALT area and the family use square foot gardening method which are newfangled to me . From goats and sheep to working Canis familiaris and heritage crafts such as quilting , there is something for every budding squatter .

Why I bang them : Jessica on a regular basis posts on her blog which is great when I ’m front for something new . I particularly like her featured squatter division for inspiring homesteads to get theme of what I can apply in the suburban quad I have . Jessica compensate urban outer space to farm in her Inspiring Homesteads and is definitely worth checking out . Her blog is beautifully easy to read on my coffee break and has a goodly gardening resourcefulness for new starters too .

Why I love them : Another new find in web log for me with very informative posts and a tremendous and productive looking garden by Danielle who hoodwink being a florists' chrysanthemum to 5 kids and life as a nester in a zona 5 area .
