My friend Miyako is an amazingly gifted gardener . Her woodland garden in front of her house is a elusive and gorgeous assemblage of ferns , hellebores , ephemerals , sweet-flavored small hostas , and bulbs , and I ’m in awe of it every spring . But come later summer , her container collection surrounding her back door is even more spectacular !
We go works shopping together every spring for tropicals and annuals for our container , and no matter how many of the same industrial plant we corrupt , our planting always look totally unique . Miyako snapped some shots of this year ’s efforts , and I mat up obligate to partake in … I love how she ’s get a live theme go on the good side with reds , oranges , and chartreuse , and a cool report on the left with purples , pinks , and whites . The grain are fantastic , and the plants fascinating . Enjoy !
