I finally break out down ( or rather , my 10 - year - old bender finally expose down ) and bought aNinja Ultima liquidizer — seriously , best investment funds for the kitchen this summertime . This matter does n’t just blend , it pulverize ! Anything and everything I put in it !
Needless to say , I ’ve been on a succus and smoothie kick the last few weeks . I ’m not one of those gullible succus gal though . I love the fruit we ’ve been pick from our garden ( the right way now , our citrus tree and bananas are out of control ) and the farmers ’ grocery berries I ’ve been buying every other week . I ’m even making my own adaptation of the Nutty Dang , my favorite charmer frommy favorite coffeeshopin Rincón , Puerto Rico . ( In fact , that was the first drink I seek in the Ninja … but with a heaping scoop of Greek fro - yo alternatively of milk . )
Most days though , I ’m blending up basket of berry to pair with the bottomless lemonade come out of the backyard . Strawberry lemonade is my favored , though you’re able to also make this with blackberries , Bronx cheer , blueberries , mulberries , or even a mix of all . It ’s the kind of drink you want to sip on a hot summer Clarence Shepard Day Jr. and divvy up with friends out of doors .
Happy Solstice !
