Sharing a glorious spring

My name is Clare Oliva , and I live and garden in northerly New Jersey . Photos of my garden have antecedently been featured on Garden Photo of the Day(Clare ’s Garden in New Jersey Day 1 of 2).Since the spring garden was glorious this year , I thought I would portion out some pictures .

This is one of my preferent views of the garden — the side garden in former fountain ( mid April ) . The big belt offorsythia(Forsythiaspp . , Zones 3–8 ) bushes at the death of the track , thetulipsstarting to blossom , and the differenttexturesand shades of green are a welcome good deal after a farseeing inhuman winter .

look down from the deck , this horizon prove thehedges , lawn , andpathsthat define the different spaces in this garden .

Colorfulcreeping phlox(Phlox stolonifera , Zones 3–8 ) and the blue sky make a lovely scene .

The creeping phlox really steals the show in former May . It is planted on the edge of a terrace and face great hang over thestone walls .

The creeping phlox is in full efflorescence , with different varieties planted in sections to create big blocks of vivid color .

Here the phlox is pulling out all the stops , show off in most every nuance of pink possible .

A look beyond the Japanese maple ‘ Tamukeyama’(Acerpalmatum‘Tamukeyama ’ , Zones 5–9 ) shows the blooms of red azaleas just start out to give .
