Fibrous/Wax
Fibrous , more commonly know aswax begonias , are the classic garden variety of begonia . They are lowly lying annuals that have smaller flowers and thick waxy leaves . I think they have fallen out of style over the years , being thought of as old mode .
But there is a reason they are planted year after year in garden . They look great plant in gravid masses and borders in garden beds . They also look good as a filler plant in containers .

Ring of fire has tumid jagged begonia mold leaves . It has a brilliant pink center then a courteous frosted silver inner leaf with sullen green run through the veins . Then it finishes off with the feature it is name after , a shining Battle of Magenta pinkish ring of fire around its margins .
This one would wait cracking in container next to other vivid pinkish foliage plants , like a caladium , or pinkish coleus to really drink down the ring of flaming in the begonia .

T Rex Ruby Slippers

Ruby slippers has large begonia jaggy leaves . The center is a little dark , almost bootleg , plosion that is palisade by a beautiful deep red pink color . It would expect groovy in a pot with , or next to other begonias in the T Rex series , such as Painter ’s Palette .
It would also appear great with blank begonias , such as around-the-clock livid tuberous begonias . The leaves on this begonia are so big and beautiful . Be certain to implant it up close so the great unwashed can admire its beautiful leaf .

Jurassic Silver Swirl
Jurassic silver swirl wirl looks like something that was around in the age of dinosaurs . It has the classical heart shaped leaf of a begonia , but it is more jagged and irregular . The leaf is a dark dark color with a frosted immature swirl through the centre of attention .
The leave of absence have that colocasia quality to them where they kind of just hang off the petiole and float delicately . Be certain to set these in a protect area . They can be planted in a mixed container with various other foliation plants and some flush .
They would look funky planted with some nonstop blank begonia for a modern black and white container . Or they would await majuscule in a heavy potty on their own .

Masoniana
This rhizomatous begonia has chummy spongy textured rounded leaves . It is the one that I mentioned on the rhizomatous lean that is not a king begonia . It is also known as an branding iron crown of thorns begonia because of the bold cross shaped mark that plump through the center of its green leaf .
The foliation is so interesting on this begonia it looks great in a hanging basket or container all by itself . I really like the look of green foliage house plant brought outside and place on a protected porch . blend and play off pots of Boston ferns , spider plants , and rhizomatous begonia to create a short outside jungle oasis .
Hardy
I have to admit , I do n’t have much hands - on experience with audacious begonias , they do not develop in my zona . But I see them in shady garden cartridge clip and I decided to include a few beautiful varieties .
