Two days in a quarrel in Massachusetts ! Today ’s pic are from Amy Murphy . She says,“I have a large suburban garden in the Boston suburbs . It is a formal garden with brick trace paths of crushed rock , stone wall , Sir Henry Wood fence , gates , and hedging . Despite it ’s formalities , the plantings lean to be more on the wild side as I am a gravid champion of Piet Oudolf and have been much influenced by his planting pick and manner .
“ I have several recurrent bed organized by coloring , an region devoted to native tree diagram and bush , and a number of Nipponese maple . A big focus of my garden is peonies . I have two long herbaceous peony bed of motley color , several littler peony layer arrange by color ( precious coral , salmon , and red ) , and the beginning of a tree peony border .
“ I am a Master Gardener and budding garden historiographer . I blog about my gardens , other garden , and garden story on my web log , Of Gardens . I am a Garden Club appendage here in suburban Boston as well as in Nova Scotia , where I spend summers , a board appendage of NELDHA ( New England Landscape and History Association ) , a member of the Garden Writers Association , a student of landscape intent , chronicle , and conservation at the Landscape Institute at the Boston Architectural College , and a member of Massachusetts Horticultural Society . Everything about gardens interests me and I endeavor to bestow some of my interest to my reader on my blog . ”
