Liz Cordova ’s Anaheim Hills , California garden is a treasure !
" The Angels carry on to run my All Season garden . I start it some 27 yr . ago . I used to garden on days off and weekends while working full time and 2 kids & observe delight doing it . But after getting so grim ( which now affect my eyes ) I can only garden in small dashes when conditions are correct . Like decently now it ’s rain down in Anaheim Hills , CA , I put out my potted Japanese that are in the patio out in the rain . The efflorescence and foliation bring joyfulness to me and friend who confabulate or need for a corsage to bring to their mom .
I divided the garden into rooms- English & antique roses in the repeated garden , a smooth Secret garden with alien plant life , Japanese Maples & ferns under the bower which I apply for an extension dining room when champion fell by , some orchid in the terrace ( living room extension through the French doors ) , I used to read in the secret garden now I just mill about awhile with dear friends who take to sit beside me and through this painful journeying . I ’ve made several planters with grouping of same need industrial plant , for Quaker without charging them . It ’s beautiful to see the joy in their eyes . "
